Roleplay on your own model
Erotic roleplay software that runs on a local LLM.
AgenticLover gives you persistent characters, persona memory, and a chat built for long scenes — driven by a language model running on your own hardware through Ollama or LM Studio. No cloud provider filters the roleplay, and nothing leaves your machine for inference.
Why local for roleplay
The scene is yours, and so is the model.
Erotic roleplay lives or dies on two things: how freely the scene can move, and whether you trust where it goes afterward. A cloud API answers both for you — a policy layer trims the reply, and a provider can log the request.
Run the model locally and you take both back. AgenticLover stays the chat surface; the words are generated on your hardware, for your eyes only.
No cloud filter on the scene
Hosted chat APIs apply their own content policy to every reply. Run the model yourself and that layer is gone. The scene goes where the two of you take it.
Roleplay stays on your machine
With local inference, your prompts and the character's replies never leave the device. Pair it with local storage and the whole RP log stays with you.
Characters that remember
Personas keep memory across the scene. The character holds their voice, what happened earlier, and the dynamic you set instead of resetting every message.
Setup
From install to first scene in three steps.
If you can install an app and copy a URL, you can run roleplay on a local model. AgenticLover detects a running server and lists the models you have pulled.
Step 01
Install a local model server
Ollama runs a model server from the command line; LM Studio gives you a desktop app with a model browser. Pull an open chat model — many are tuned for long-form roleplay.
Step 02
Point AgenticLover at it
In AI Provider settings, choose Ollama or LM Studio, paste the local URL, and Test Connection. Your installed models appear in a dropdown ready to pick.
Step 03
Build a character and play
Write a persona — their voice, the setting, the dynamic — and start the scene. The model on your hardware drives every reply, in character, for as long as you like.
Built for the scene
Roleplay that holds its shape.
A good scene needs a character who stays in voice and a chat that does not get in the way. AgenticLover is built around persona memory, so the model has something to be consistent to.
Long-form, not one-liners
Open roleplay models write paragraphs, hold pacing, and follow a scene. You set the tone; the character carries it.
Any dynamic you write
Soft and slow or sharp and commanding — the persona is yours to define. Nothing in the software steers the relationship for you.
Extensions in the same chat
Voice, images, and connected devices plug into the conversation, so a scene can reach past text when you want it to.
Scenes that continue
Pick a roleplay back up later. Persona memory means the character knows where you left off instead of starting cold.
Private and unfiltered
Nobody reads the scene but you.
When inference runs on your machine, the roleplay is not handed to a third party and is not subject to a hosted provider's content rules. You choose the model, you write the character, and the scene stays between the two of you.
You pick the model
Many open models are tuned for permissive, long-form roleplay. Download the one that matches how you play.
Keep the RP log local
Run the model locally and use local storage, and the whole roleplay history stays on your device.
No policy layer
There is no cloud filter deciding what the scene can or cannot be.
Same features
Memory, extensions, voice, and device control all work the same on a local model.
FAQ
Erotic roleplay local LLM questions.
What is erotic roleplay local LLM software?
It is software for adult roleplay where the language model runs on your own computer instead of a cloud API. AgenticLover is the chat surface — characters, memory, extensions — and you connect it to a local model server like Ollama or LM Studio. Every reply is generated on your hardware.
Why run erotic roleplay on a local LLM?
Two reasons. Privacy: with local inference your scenes are not sent to a third party and are not logged by a provider. Freedom: there is no cloud content policy applied on top of the chat, so the roleplay is shaped by the model and the persona you choose, not by an external filter.
Which local model servers does AgenticLover support?
Ollama and LM Studio. Ollama runs a background server on http://localhost:11434. LM Studio is a desktop app that exposes a local server, usually on http://localhost:1234. In AI Provider settings you pick the provider, enter the URL, and your installed models load automatically.
What hardware do I need?
A modern graphics card. The model loads into video memory, so more VRAM lets you run a larger, sharper model that holds a scene better. Smaller models run on a modest card; 16GB of VRAM or more is comfortable for long roleplay. CPU-only works but replies come slowly.
Will the characters stay in voice during a long scene?
A persona carries the character's voice, the setting, and what has already happened as memory across the scene. A capable local model uses that to stay consistent. Bigger models track longer roleplay more reliably than small ones.
Can I still use a cloud model for roleplay?
Yes. Local is one option, not a requirement. AgenticLover also works with hosted models through its built-in catalog and OpenRouter. You can switch the same character between a local model and a cloud model whenever you like.
